The private limited company Koduk\u00e4st\u00f6\u00f6 operated in cooperation with the Central Society. National handicrafts were produced and marketed, and exhibitions were organized. Knitwear inspired by folk art was especially popular.<br><br>In 1992, the Estonian Central Society for Promotion of Home Industry was restored, and in 2004 renamed the Estonian Folk Art and Crafts Union.
