The Kaarmanni craft store's September window display is ready to view.
This time, the Viljandi Academy of Culture is represented by the designer collection OD ́E and ÕED at the OmaMood 2025 fashion show. The authors of the collection are Tiiu Kängsepp-Prost and Grete Prost-Kängsepp. Grete has studied leather design at the Tartu Higher School of Art Pallas and Tiiu Kängsepp-Prost graduated from the Viljandi Academy of Culture at the University of Tartu this year, specializing in heritage technology textiles.
Students from the Textile Department of Pallas University of Applies Sciences will be exhibiting their knitwear. Hanna-Maria Org and Kätlin Kalmus will be presenting their work that combines sustainable material use, personal stories, and the creation of connections between contemporary and traditional clothing design.
